All of these recordings came from either Eddie's Attic in Decatur, GA (November 22nd 2016), Songs From A Room in SoHo NYC (December 7th 2016), or from my Stageit show in my apartment in Park Slope Brooklyn (December 9th 2016). It's been such an honor to curate this small little club. These are my secret songs I made just for you.
The day will come when I'll have to kill my darlings and go into a real recording studio and make a record, but I feel privileged to be able to share this part of the creative process (the fun part)- the digging- the second guessing- the lyric changes - tiny little sparks of magic that still surprise me and inspire me to keep digging. Thank you for supporting me. 2016 was the year that I was either going to quit music or figure out a new way to do it. Because you stuck with me, instead there are over 50 new songs, and I was able to live off music another year. I'm getting back to that place that made me fall in love with writing songs. Thank you. It wouldn't be possible without your help. It still isn't. Thanks for keeping the turntable spinning. I'll keep the music playing as long as you'll let me.
